SWIFA Forms

Current
  • For check-in of squads (and specification of fencer A/B/C assignments for the pool round):
    • Squad check-in cards (MS Word, four cards per page) (recommendation: cut up precisely, or sorting and stacking can be misreable) (recommendation: print on 67 lb card stock)
  • For squad assignment of A/B/C fencer designations for a single DE match (these are blank forms; the SWIFA software prints these customized for specific matches):
  • For recording the scores of one-third of the bouts of a single pool (these would be blank forms; the SWIFA software prints these customized for specific pools):
    • SWIFA has no blank SWIFA pool sheets; use three USFA (or other) blank pool sheets for each SWIFA pool
  • For recording the scores of a single DE match (these are blank forms; the SWIFA software prints these customized for specific matches):
  • Other:
    • SWIFA tournament software (MS Excel) (not actually a form, but an entire program for running SWIFA competitions, © Matthew T. Delevoryas, with rights granted to use for running SWIFA competitions; save a template copy, then copy it once per competition to be administered)
Deprecated
  • Squad check-in cards (MS Word, four cards per page) (does not provide for the pool round A/B/C fencer declaration to be part of registration)
  • Pool Sheet (MS Excel) (one copy of this will allow recording the results of the nine bouts of three squad-squad encounters in a pool; current SWIFA practice is to use three standard pool sheets to record all bouts)
  • Encounter Order (this differs slightly from the pool bout order inherited from USFA rules, but SWIFA has never legislated that there be any difference from the USFA orders)
  • SWIFA Tournament Fencing Time Instructions (this prescribes how to use Fencing Time in a nonstandard fashion so the correct winners are calculated in a SWIFA pool, but at the expense of creating another problem where incorrect indicators cause squads from different pools to be ranked in the wrong relative order)
